Mark earned bachelor’s degree in Design from the University of Florida and his Master’s degree in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology; an institution consistently ranked as one of the United States’ top research and design schools.
With over twenty years experience in Interior Design and Architecture, Mark has pursued design in many forms, from designing single family homes to luxury hotels and resorts. Projects include high profile , award winning residential projects in New York City and Indonesia. Mark believes in the capacity of good design to enrich people’s lives: Well considered Design that responds to the clients’ and users’ best instincts and qualities helps to create strong , stable, fun and desirable places to live, work and play. He firmly believes that each project should strive to become an integral and valued part of the place in which it finds itself . Working hand in hand with owners, operators and consultants in the United States, China and Indonesia , Mark has contributed to the successful development of mixed use, hospitality and luxury residential projects of varying styles that meet the highest international design standards.
Mark is a registered architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He is a member of the Urban Green Council ( UGC) and has obtained his Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design ( LEED ) green associate accreditation from the United States Green Building Council. He enjoys sharing and teaching and is currently a contributing writer and editor covering Architecture for Design Publications FORM magazine in Singapore and ROOM in Malaysia.
